Like most women, I just wanted to lose weight and feel comfortable in my body. I was struggling with emotional eating and low self esteem. I knew something had to change.
I stayed on the treadmill for about a year before finally working up the courage to take a dumbbell into the corner of the room and try to learn how to use it. Fast forward a couple years and I had hired a coach for myself and completely fallen in love with strength training.
I realized how many other women could benefit from strength training if they had someone giving them a plan, showing them correct form, and holding them accountable.
